Little Canyon Shooting Now Open at Fairfield,
Washington.
Little Canyon Shooting
and the Smith family are pleased to announce the addition of the
newest hunting ranch to the Little Canyon Shooting group. This new ranch is
about thirteen hundred acres and is located three and one half miles west of
Fairfield, WA. on west
Bradahaw Rd. It includes about one and one half
miles of Hangman Ck. and one half mile of Rattler Run Ck., which is all prime
time pheasant habitat. There are also two or three more hunts in the field
draws, the old homesite and right above Hangman
Ck. on top. The hunts can be planned to make them as pleasant or intense as you
choose. The really nice feature is that access is year-round
with a good county road and rock roads to most of the hunt areas. We have set up
a camper for check-in and hunter use and a cleaning room with sink and cleaning
tables.
We think you will really
enjoy this ranch because it is typical eastern Washington upland
game bird habitat. We will be hunting pheasants
initially and pheasants and chukkars later in the
season. As always—members, guests and day hunters may hunt any of the ranches in
the Little Canyon Shooting group. We encourage our northern guests to continue
on down to the Peck ranch and overnight with us and enjoy some unbeatable
hospitality, great food and more great flying birds.
