Little Canyon Shooting
Our original lodge and home is a barn built in 1902 by the Deterly brothers who homesteaded the ranch in Little Canyon. When we purchased the ranch in 1976, Andrea and the kids and I began converting the old barn into a home. In 1980 we added a large room on the south side complete with a heated indoor pool and a hot tub. When we started Little Canyon Shooting in 1996 we began adding more bedrooms and guest facilities on the bottom two floors. Now we have four bedrooms with baths which will accommodate sixteen guests or four average families. A spacious dining room and a complete commercial kitchen further compliment our facilities. We are especially fortunate to have a full time chef and the services of a master chef who is on call and assists with special menus and occasions as well as large groups.
A new pro shop is now under construction adjacent to the dining area. The pro shop will carry a complete line of hunting accessories, clothing , shotgun shells, guns and art.
Our latest addition is a brand new log lodge that is Andy and Diane’s home. It has a very large daylight basement with three guest rooms and a spacious general area for meetings and those “late night” card games. Each room has it’s own bath and the two front rooms have gas fireplaces. One of the bathrooms is handicapped accessible. Three queen, two full and three twin beds provide room for eight individuals or three average families. All included we can accommodate twenty six individuals or seven average families, enabling us to cater a lot of “couples weekends” and corporate events where we tailor the entire operation to their choices of lodging, food, special events and shooting events. As always we brag about our “great flying birds”, wonderful food and unbeatable hospitality.        |
